Last night was interesting indeed. We drove into Split and tried for a few hours to find our Sobe (room with amenities). Stopped at a tourist agency. They had never heard of the street it was on, and no one at the Sobe was answering the phone. Small heart attack.

Turns out that was because it was not on a street. It was inside Diocletians palace. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diocletian's_Palace
