The landscape here is, as the title states, the wierdest thing I have ever seen. Those tall, phallic things are called fairy chimneys and I forget why. My brain is starting to clog up with interesting tidbits. Like hair in a drain. But everything forms from wind and rain. There are plenty of green things, but what really stands out are the different colors in the rock and sand. The rose valley is called that because it glows pink.
The next-to-last shot is part of the town of Goreme, and the last shot is of my feet today. Dusty. Like the Israelites' must have been. The first thing I did when we got back was wash them.
